Welcome! Dietitians NT is launching our nutrition science blog with new topics discussed each week. With a mountain of nutrition information on the internet and social media, it can be hard to decipher fact from fiction. As Accredited Practising Dietitians, we are the peak nutrition experts and want to provide you with quality nutrition information you can trust and see results from.

We are passionate about optimising nutrition as it is the single most important modifiable determinate of health. With quality nutrition we can prevent and manage diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, PCOS, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney disease, liver disease, and dementia.

Nutrition is not only about preventing and managing disease, we can also optimise our whole lives through quality nutrition intake. Whether that be ensuring we are meeting recommended requirements for vitamins and minerals, optimising sports performance, improving energy levels, decreasing inflammation, or having a good relationship with food and being able to enjoy this with family and friends.
